Having taught Org Motivation and Leadership for about ten terms, I am thrilled to be using Lencioni's work. The students enjoy it as a quick and easy read. The content is rich but not complicated and allows me to introduce more academic, research-based terms and concepts to our conversation about "teams" without their eyes glazing over. Since I include a section on "personality" and its impact on leadership, the fictional DecisionTech team gives my students an opportunity to diagnose personalities and examine how those personalities impact the team's interactions. I can readily recommend this book for faculty teaching similar courses. I'd also recommend it for faculty working on teams within their own institution.
